Susquehanna River Valley Group Camping

Williamsport South / Nittany Mountain KOA has a large heated Recreation Hall and a wooded, outdoor picnic grove, complete with a covered pavilion and large fire pit. Either area is perfect for your club meetings, large gatherings or family reunions.

Susquehanna River Valley Camping Rates

Susquehanna Valley camping at Williamsport South / Nittany Mountain KOA is fun and affordable, whether you park an RV or pitch a tent at one of our campsites or you rent one of our convenient and comfortable cabins.

Visitors must register at the main office prior to entering the park and pay fees accordingly. Visitors are the responsibility of the registered camping guests that they are visiting. Day visitors must leave the park by 10pm or overnight fees will apply.

Seasonal Camping - Tired of driving back and forth to your favorite campground? Have a home away from home. We still have a few "Seasonal" spaces available for the 2008 camping season. Rates start at $1,275.00, and offer you a full season of camping from 4/4/08-10/26/08. Stay all season, so you don’t miss any of the fun.

Midweek Storage Special - Save yourself the trouble of packing all your camping equipment, only to come back for some more fun the next week. Take advantage of our "Midweek Storage Special." Camp two consecutive weekends and leave your camper on-site for a minimal $25.00 fee. (Subject to availability. Not valid on pull-thru sites. Maximum of 3 weekends per offer.)

Monthly Rate - $450.00 for a campsite with water, metered electric, cable TV hookup. Add $50.00 per month for sewer sites.

Rental Cabins

If you like to travel light or are new to camping, experience the comfort and convenience of the Willamsport South / Nittany Mountain KOA Kampground rental cabins. There are several sizes and styles to suit your needs. Treat your loved ones to a luxurious stay in our Two Bedroom Cottage or in our Rustic Log Home. Both sleep six and are fully equipped with all the conveniences of home. Or you can try our smaller camping cabins, for more of a traditional camping experience. Our rental units are the perfect option for a quick getaway or to introduce yourselves or friends to everything that camping has to offer.

Rustic Log Home

This 25 year old hunting cabin (700 sq.ft.) is nestled in the backwoods of the campground. A fire ring, picnic table and cooking grill catch the eye before going up to the inviting front porch. Once inside, you will discover a great room with fully equipped kitchen and living room with color TV. A gas heater will take the chill off those spring and fall nights and the air conditioning will keep you cool during the heat of the summer. Two bedrooms and a nice bathroom complete the log home’s interior. Since this rustic log home is fully equipped you do not have to worry about anything. Just pack your bedding and linens, food and drink and you are all set.

Two Bedroom Cottage

The cottage was built in 1999 and has an inside area of 425 sq.ft. The two bedrooms can sleep a family of six, and there is a bathroom with shower, vanity and commode. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a standard size fridge, a stove and oven, microwave, coffeemaker and toaster. All pots, pans and silverware along with dishes and glassware are in the cupboards. A gas heater will take the chill of those spring and fall nights and the air conditioning will keep you cool during the heat of summer. In back of the cottage is a secluded patio with a cooking grill for your outdoors meals. This unit is conveniently located in the heart of the park, so you can easily take part in one of the many events, yet is secluded enough that you can just relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. Kamping Kabin

Our kamping kabins are a perfect arrangement for a true camping experience with some of the comforts of home. These cabins have a view of the playground and offer a secure sleeping place for four with a double bed and a set of bunk beds. Outside is a covered front porch, a picnic table, a fire ring for your campfires and a cooking grill for your hotdogs and hamburgers. New for 2008 – We have added small refrigerators and TV’s with Cable TV hookups as an added convenience for you.

Reservation, Cancellation & Pet Policies

Reservation Policies

All reservations require a minimum 1 night paid deposit on a credit card at the time of reservation.
All weekend reservations require a two night minimum stay, with a one night paid deposit.
Holiday Weekends require a 3 night minimum stay & a 3 night paid deposit.
Holiday rates apply to Memorial Day (5/23-5/25), July 4th (7/3-7/5), and Labor Day (8/29-8/31)
All other Weekends Require a 2 night minimum stay and a 1 night paid deposit.

Cancellation Policies

24 Hours Notice on Campsites
72 Hours Notice on Rental Units
$10.00 Cancellation Fee applies to each cancellation
Holiday Weekend Exceptions: all sites and rentals require 1 week notice; $10.00 fee will still apply.

Sawmill Weekends (7/18-7/20/08 and 7/25-7/27/08) will also require 1 week notice, and cancellation fee. Holiday Rates will not apply.

Pet Policy: The Nittany Mountain KOA Kampground is a “Pet Friendly” park. We know that your pets are part of the family, and want them to be part of your camping experience, but in the effort to make this a safe environment for all campers, we ask that you adhere to the following pet guidelines:

Aggressive dogs of any breed are not welcome at any KOA. If your dog shows behavior that is protective and unfriendly to strangers, please leave it at home. If you decide to bring your dog and it exhibits this type of behavior, the owner or management of the KOA will ask you to please find other camping accommodations.
All dogs are required to be under the control and visual observation of their owners at all times. A 6 foot leash rule is in effect whenever the animal is outside of the owner’s RV, tent or rental unit. No dog is to be left tied up or unattended outside of the owner’s camping equipment.
Allowing your dog to bark uncontrollably day or night will not be permitted and you may be asked to leave if you are not able to control your pet’s barking behavior.
Valid and current rabies documentation is required in case of emergencies.
Pets are permitted in our Kabins, Cottage & Log Home, with the understanding that any damages incurred by your pet will incur a minimum $50.00 repair/cleaning fee depending on the level of damage. All damages are the sole responsibility of the pet owner.
All pet owners are required to clean up after their pets.
Service dogs of any breed are welcome; however, they must follow the leash policies and may not exhibit aggressive behavior.
